C.F. Maier has over 40 years of experience in the field of large-area covering systems made of glass fiber-reinforced polyester resin. We offer numerous modular system variants as well as special designs.
Since 1978, our company has been a manufacturer of large-area covering systems made of glass fiber-reinforced polyester resin for technical structures. One of the oldest C.F. Maier covers has been in use at a German chemical plant since 1979. With a covered area of around 58,000 m², it is one of the largest of its kind in Europe.

C.F. Maier covers with a system
Our protective and closing elements are suitable for basins, silos, large containers or conveyor systems, for example.
The functions and dimensions of the required covers generally do not allow for a standardized design. However, to ensure cost-effectiveness and cost efficiency, we offer numerous modular system variants of our products. Special designs, for example non-round covers, are possible without any problems. Over the years, many such innovative constructions have been created, some with very large spans.
As part of project management, we also support you in selecting the right type, in the design, in the static calculation and in the acceptance of the building dimensions on site. Our experienced teams also take care of the final assembly of the cover systems on the construction site.

Our GRP covers
- protect against the effects of weather (rain, snow, hail, cold, air, light), for example in silos
- protect against externalcontamination from dust or flying sand, for example in water tanks and clarifiers
- prevent odor nuisance to residents, for example in thickeners and sludge silos in sewage treatment plants
- prevent the spread of aerosols, for example in aeration tanks in sewage treatment plants
- prevent evaporation losses, for example in water storage tanks
- create an enclosure for outdoornoise sources , for example in pumps, turbines and elevators in water and wastewater technology
- maintain the prescribed temperature, for example in biological wastewater treatment plants
- protect against the penetration of pathogens (e.g. by birds) in sewage treatment plants
